SM Herbals is part of a group of enterprises with diverse interests in fields such as Tea Plantations, Manufacturing and Extraction. The Group turnover is in excess of US$ 50 million.

SM Herbals specializes in the Extraction, Isolation and Purification of Phytochemicals. Located 60 km outside New Delhi, India, the manufacturing unit currently has 3 production lines, 2 of which are dedicated to the production of 10-Deacetyl Baccatin III and Camptothecin, which are the main products of the company.

Of these two important anti-cancer drug intermediates, the company has filed DMF with the US FDA. SM Herbals has also applied for process patents for isolation of 10-DAB III and Camptothecin.

The unit has dedicated areas for Raw Material Storage, Purification, Drying and Packing, as well as a R & D and Q.C Departments well equipped with HPLC/GC/UV specs to carry out analysis of all incoming raw materials and finished products.

SM Herbals continues to recruit experienced professionals to our team of dedicated staff. Our focus remains quality control, and to exercise further control over our raw material we are in the process of setting up our own dedicated plantation for raw materials and medicinal plants.
